How will you make an impact?

This position requires the ability to work in a very fast paced and quickly growing business. In this function, you are responsible for ensuring accuracy of timely client invoicing for all lines of business. This position requires a highly motivated candidate with solid analytic, process management, quantitative, and technical skills to aid in the development of overall customer satisfaction.

What will you do?

In this role you will be responsible for leading and planning the billing operations for multiple service lines, designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes. You will interface with the Client Services, Operations and IT teams to develop a strong working knowledge of our processes and systems which support the invoicing processes. This position requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct a team to deliver excellent results. As a role model leader you will be responsible for the full cycle performance of your team, to include: evaluating goals, reviewing priorities, updating development progress, giving and receiving performance feedback in a timely manner, to consistently increase the engagement of your team.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or other relevant background

  • Advanced Qualification Preferred (CPA, MBA, or MS)

  • 3+ years billing management

  • 5-10 years client billing

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Demonstrated use of process improvement methodologies

  • Prior experience with billing system upgrades and implementations

  • Inquisitive individual that thinks globally and has the ability to apply sound judgment based on US GAAP and fundamental accounting concepts

  • Strong in the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and related operational analysis

  • Candidate will demonstrate robust financial acumen in several areas including financial reporting, internal control, forecasting, analysis, and technical accounting knowledge.

  • The ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate external and internal information, draw conclusions from ambiguous data, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines.

  • The ability to analyze and communicate variances to management is required to be successful in this position, as well as, the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to obtain operational buy-in with easy to understand analysis and presentations.

  • Proven history of participating on cross functional teams as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with peers and operating partners.

  • It is required that the candidate has the ability to manage multiple assignments, has good judgment, and prioritizes projects and time effectively.

  • The ideal candidate will have a commitment to continuous learning, show career progression and development, and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities.

  • Excellent skills with MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint are required; skills with Data Warehouse, Oracle, COGNOS, and Visual Basic are preferred.
