Position Summary:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a creative and logical DRM Administrator (Oracle Data Relationship Management) with strong analytical and technical skills. This DRM Administrator will be a part of the Global Divisional Reporting (GDR) system and process transformation initiative. The candidate must be able to work with a high level of independence and be able to rapidly take on and assimilate work from other teams. The candidate will also support corresponding functions such Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage DRM by doing the following:

  • Create hierarchies, properties, validation/verification, import & exports etc.

  • Manage hierarchies within DRM that feed into all downstream applications

  • Manage, create, and enhance exports from DRM to relational tables for integration into downstream applications

  • Leverage critical thinking and finance experience to align systems to business needs

  • Utilize Audit trails and transaction logs to analyze and trouble shoot discrepancies

  • Create and manage work flows

  • Troubleshoot data and metadata load errors

  • Partners with business teams to understand requirements of new business initiatives

  • Partner with IT to implement system solutions based on requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience and 2+ within DRM

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Extensive experience in:

  • Version/Hierarchy/Node creation / maintenance

  • Defining properties / Inheritance

  • Defining formulae for properties - Derived properties

  • Updating the property values Action Scripts

  • Security maintenance User Security

  • Workflow creation / maintenance - DRG

  • Defining the import process - Database / Flat file

  • Sync up Hierarchies / Use of a Blender

  • Strong hands-on experience in SQL

  • Automates the Import / Export / Maintenance process DRM Batch Client.

  • Code Migration and Release Management activities – DRM Metadata migration

  • Exposure to DRM artifacts migration across environments.

  • Exposure on DRM core concepts like Exports, Imports, Blenders, Action Scripts, Property Definition and Property Categories

  • Should have worked on how to take Audit trails and transaction logs and analyze to find the discrepancies

  • Should be able to investigate master data discrepancies

  • Have worked on integration of DRM with Hyperion tools like Essbase, Planning and HFM
