Job Description

  • Since our lab offers PSC culture-training courses, all basic aspects of the basic ESC/iPSC workflow will be covered starting from iPSC generation to terminal differentiation.

  • Interns will be involved in feasibility experiments relevant to reprogramming and characterization. Some commonly used methods are listed: Somatic reprogramming of human cells using at least two different non-integrational methods in feeder-dependent and feeder-free media systems; Real-time visualization and measurement of reprogramming kinetics; Spontaneous and directed differentiation; Immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry analysis; Cell-based and molecular analysis for iPSC characterization; Enrichment of differentiated cells

  • Optional: Involvement in projects focused on characterization platform for clinically relevant cell types, Gene editing/Knock-In using CRISPR and TALEN technology.

  • Additional Professional & Personal development opportunities include training in DOE (Design of Experiments), GLP/GMP workflows, record keeping, introduction to program management and product development, DiSC self-assessment, resume writing tips and mentorship program.
