Lead requirements and design workshops for systems such as Manhattan Warehouse Management, Cognos, DSI dcLink, QAD Precision/TRAX, Oracle Fusion Middleware, webMethods and Oracle Enterprise One ERP.
Conduct fit/gap analysis and document business/system requirements.
Participate in or lead Practical Process Improvement Kaizen events to optimize business and system process flows.
Employ advanced data mining and analysis techniques to identify productivity improvement opportunities.
Develop prioritization mechanisms and lead prioritization meetings to drive regional and global priorities for Distribution/Logistics related enhancement requests.
Perform technical designs and work to troubleshoot issues, identify problems and develop practical solutions.
Coordinate development activities with multiple teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
Create and execute test scripts, capture defects, verify fixes and report updates.
Manage release plans, including scope, schedule, documentation and coordination with technical teams.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field of study plus 5 years of software development, systems engineering, industrial engineering or related experience. Employer also accepts a Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of experience as an equivalent alternative.
Must have experience or knowledge of:
End-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project implementation activities and deliverables;
E1 (JDE) Inventory module, including Inventory Configuration, Pick Pack Ship processes, Purchase Order processes, Intercompany processes and Work Order management;
Multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments used to support the Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS) process, such as Warehouse Mgmt, Transportation Mgmt and Order Mgmt systems;
Integration technologies and systems, such as XML, webMethods and Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM);
Reporting tools, such as IBM Cognos;
Supporting machine automation systems, such conveyors, print and apply applicators, in-line weigh scales, and case sealers;
Scheduling, monitoring, data extract-transform-load (ETL) and performance test tools, such as Control-M, HP Openview, Informatica, and HP LoadRunner;
Leading groups, managing project deliverables, and maintaining client relationships.
Willing to travel up to 25% domestic and international.
