Location:

Individual can work anywhere in the U.S. remotely; some travel (within the U.S.) will take place as needed (no more than 25%)

How will you make an impact?

The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence is a leadership role that leverages data and leads a remote based team of analysts to develop, design, deliver and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to drive operational improvement and service insights for the Instrument and Enterprise Services Division. As part of our Service Business Transformation office, this role will also contribute to the design, definition, development and execution of the future state of data science for services.

What will you do?

  • Lead a team of analysts to deliver, sustain and continuously evolve service operational KPI’s and analyses providing visualization, performance measures and business intelligence to leadership in support of exceptional customer experience, business decision making and operational improvement

  • Proactively drive operational analyses to surface process or performance opportunities for leadership strategy and decision-making

  • Leverage team-members subject matter expertise to support database maintenance, trouble-shooting and end user support on our systems

  • Effectively support on demand analyses requests generated from leaders and project teams

  • Support business and company customer feedback program architecture (CAS), defining, maintaining and continuously improving customer survey deployment in current and future systems. Provide related reporting including routine metrics and annual planning

  • Partner with peers to lead business level KPI leadership reviews as a guide, coach and facilitator

  • Contribute to Data Science strategies for Services

  • Partner with peers to create strategies to leverage artificial intelligence and automation to improve business performance

  • Drive innovation with advanced data algorithms to build models that generate service insights

  • Drive compliance to all regulated requirements for the Business Intelligence function

  • Continuously benchmark, study and share trends in service, implementing new tools and strategies as applicable

  • Continuously evolve and elevate analytical approach, metrics, methodologies, and tools

  • Current systems in scope include, but are not limited to: Cloud 4 Service, SAP, Baan, Maximo, Salesforce.com, BOE, Cognos, PowerBI, UIA, Medallia, and multiple internally developed operating systems

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science or related field or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 5 years' experience of high-level business intelligence functions, such as: Familiarization with data management/analytical management/problem solving approaches, demonstrated ability to develop pragmatic solutions to unstructured business problems, demonstrated ability to develop strategic solutions from large and complex data sets, and demonstrated ability to partner with global business leaders to drive enhanced operating performance

  • Data Science experience preferred

  • Familiarization with service systems and data methodologies within scope of role preferred

  • Familiarization with SQL and similar programming languages preferred

  • PPI, Six Sigma or related problem solving proficiency preferred
