How will you make an impact?

This role collaborates with a cross-functional team to ensure the successful execution of new-product development and portfolio analysis. The role contributes to the effective implementation, tracking and continuous improvement of the Product Commercialization Process (PCP) for the Life Sciences Solutions Group (LSG) at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

What will you do?

  • Improve and update the architecture and use of the PCP in LSG.

  • Answer questions & provide guidance for using & tailoring PCP.

  • Create and deliver training to the product development community, in both live and on-line formats.

  • Maintain an internal PCP website as a vehicle for training, communication, and change-management efforts.

  • Collaborate with LSG Portfolio & Program Management to maintain an up-to-date master program list, including accurate schedule, resource & status details. Utilize these metrics to create dashboards and data visualizations for stakeholders across LSG.

  • Enthusiastic communicator, comfortable in formal & informal presentations, as well as managing documentation.

  • Collaborates well with others and builds effective business relationships with different personalities, understanding their motivations.


  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years in new-product development.

  • Working knowledge of design control and standard stage-gate processes.

  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Exposure to Agile PPM, Sharepoint or other web-based collaboration tools


  • Will interact with all levels of company employees, from executives to individual contributors.
