In this role, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the planning and execution of product campaigns, supporting new product introductions, the maintenance and publishing of information generated by the EPM Marketing Communications function globally, trade show coordination, reporting metrics against a variety of marketing activities and preparing product collateral/promotional materials. ​

  • Support the planning and execution of revenue driving product campaigns for new and existing product offerings.

  • Support local China EPM marketing team by hosting bi-weekly calls and report updates on local activity and marketing support needed; address needs with Franklin based product and marketing teams as necessary.

  • Manage all cross-functional planning and budgetary components of EPM event programs such as the coordination of tradeshows, product launch roadshows and on-site sales meetings.

  • Manage various digital assets such as: the EPM Online Library, online literature warehouse, Sales 360 mobile app as well as user access and system configurations.

  • Manage EPM leads through SFDC for all lead generating activities and provide recommendations on how to improve lead funnel activity.

  • Manage EPM in-house inventory of tradeshow properties and instrument demos and track assets through SFDC and support sales activities by shipping demo instruments as necessary.

  • On-going tracking of marketing communications related expenses and preparation of monthly summaries to ensure that operating budget guidelines are being adhered to.

  • Support with the preparation and distribution of communications and promotional materials such as new product launch materials, newsletters, support bulletins, product announcements, news updates and application notes etc.

  • Develop strong working relationships with business units, corporate office, and vendors to help develop integrated marketing program that reflects market/business strategy.

  • Perform market research as necessary to support strategy planning and execution of key campaigns.

  • Interface with internal customers at all levels of the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Willing to travel domestically and some international up to 25%.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products. Experience with InDesign a plus, but not required.

  • Experience with various marketing tools, specifically SalesForce.Com

  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proven experience working in a cross-functional, complex matrix environment

  • Adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

  • Proven ability at learning in-depth product knowledge within multiple product lines.

  • Strong attention to details, strong time management, budgeting and organizational skills.

  • Proactive self-starter able to work autonomously and as a team-player.

Education

Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree in communication, promotions, marketing, journalism, or related field preferred.

Experience Level

5+ years experience with BA in a marketing communications function, preferably in a B2B setting.
