Job Description


Provides safe, compliant, efficient, accurate receipt, storage, movement / picking of materials for Warehouse

Operations Customers. Completes all inventory transaction, cycle counting as necessary and as directed by

departmental supervision. Provides effective, efficient and accurate preparation, assembly shipment

documentation of orders for internal and external customers. Crosses train in the three warehouse areas

designated by supervision.

Essential Functions:

  1. Conducts work in a safe and effective manner, following all applicable procedures and policies. Takes

appropriate action to correct unsafe acts, systems and procedures. Complies with relevant laws, company

guidelines and requirements through adherence to company policies relating to quality, safety, housekeeping

and cost effectiveness.

  1. Receives, stores, handles and delivers Raw materials, Bulk, Components, Finished Product and Nonproduction

items to appropriate areas. Utilizes material handling equipment in accordance with standard

operating and safety procedures. Materials should be wrapped or strapped on pallets to secure loads. Ensures

pallets stored in rack bins do not exceed the maximum weight capacity.

  1. Checks all Raw materials, Bulk, Components deliveries to ascertain that Purchase order numbers, quantities

and lot numbers match packing slip and Certificate of Analysis. Verifies that incoming materials are

received from an approved location using SAP. Initiates F2 notifications when discrepancies occur.

  1. Maintains accurate inventory in SAP in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP’s)

while issuing / shipping materials as required. Ensures inventory accuracy is maximized at all times. Assists

with physical inventory of the warehouse as required.

  1. Ensures all controlled substances are handled according to procedures. Ensures all hazardous materials are

handled safely per regulations and procedures.

  1. Ensures that all physical material, batches, quantities and locations are in sync with SAP.

  2. Operates Forklifts in a safe and efficient manner that include daily checklist on all mechanical functions and

preventive maintenance done on a monthly basis through the truck shop. Notifies area supervisor when

problems are found, and the equipment should be removed from service, and a work order issued to repair

the equipment.

  1. Picks, transports, controls materials as required to support the production manufacturing functions. Ensures

all SAP transactions are completed timely, accurately and procedurally as required to maintain system

integrity / accuracy.

  1. Receives, Stores and issues all inventoried materials utilizing scanners and SAP to correctly facilitate

shipment of finish product to our customers.

  1. Performs other duties as assigned by area supervision.


High school diploma or equivalent is required.


Two years of experience in warehouse/manufacturing operations is required.

Equivalency :

Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.


Ability to operate forklifts and mechanical material handling equipment. Knowledge of weights of materials to

ensure rack weight capacity is not exceeded. Knowledge of converting lbs/kgs for raw materials. Calculating net

weights for controlled substances. Skills in warehouse utilization. Decipher date of manufacture from various

countries. Experience with driving trucks requiring a Class A Commercial Drivers License preferred. Efficient

verbal and written communication. Reading Comprehension and Operative/Craft Test. Proficient in Microsoft

word, excel, SAP. Knowledge of Inventory Control and Inventory Policy.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations;

ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry,

move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and

type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and

read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for

prolonged periods of time.
