The role of the Senior Digital Product Manager is to define, execute and own the Digital workflow strategy across business units. You will work with Business Unit leadership, product managers, and R&D teams to facilitate the “re-thinking” of products and services based on all aspects of connected systems – instruments, software, mobile applications, on-premise and Cloud enabled workflow applications.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing you will focus on the customer needs, identity and review business opportunities, as well as drive commercial adoption of our current and future cloud-based applications. Working closely with other product managers, business leaders and customers in the field, you will develop the commercial product roadmap and work with development teams to deliver value-added product features while measuring their adoption and commercial success.

Responsibilities:

  • Define a cohesive product vision and strategy based on the strategies of multiple business units that aligns with overall business goals, meets customer needs, and contributes to meeting key performance indicators

  • Engage external customers and end users to understand their needs and how they can best be served through product capabilities

  • Monitor market, competitive, and technology trends and capabilities to shape strategy and roadmaps

  • Engage with stakeholders to develop business justification and obtain necessary buy-in and approval to move efforts forward

  • Develop pricing methodologies and strategies to maximize return (including SaaS methodologies)

  • Present strategy, roadmaps, QBR, and status updates to leadership on regular basis

  • Work with other internal groups to bring product roadmap to life including UX, engineering, QA, analytics, legal, business units, marketing and others.

  • Establish functional KPIs and monitor on regular basis to determine direction and provide justification for proposed efforts as well as to report results of previous efforts

  • Develop capabilities across channels (desktop, mobile, tablet, etc), platforms, and regional sites Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree or MBA preferred. Experience:

  • 6-8 years of relevant industry experience

  • 6 years Product Management experience within an application environment developing product strategy and with a demonstrable track record of roadmap delivery

  • Strong customer and CX focus

  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate priorities and resources across a complex, matrixed global organization

  • Ability to effectively engage across organizational levels from executives to technical teams

  • Strong executive presence with good influential presentation skills

  • Success at monetizing connected products and services

  • Track record of balancing and prioritizing competing project requests

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Product management experience within Sciences or similar environment

  • Experience with cloud-based application/SaaS business model

  • Experience working on global products that have regional considerations

  • Experience developing products across desktop, mobile, kiosk, and other devices

  • Experience working within Agile methodologies

  • Experience working within SAFe framework

  • Experience working within phase-gate product lifecycle management
