Location/Division Specific Information

Our team specializes in radiation measurement products serving the nuclear power, medical and security markets and our business-unit specializes in field analysis instruments (FTIR/Raman and XRF) performing elemental and isotope identification for laboratory, mining, narcotics as well as other markets. As a Quality Engineer you will work for our Field and Safety Instruments business at our Cleveland metropolitan area site in Oakwood Village, Ohio where our specialty is radiation measurement and detection equipment.

By nurturing and growing a strong quality management system, the quality team has wide-ranging responsibilities and opportunities to impact the business’ health, effectiveness and most importantly our customer’s experience with our products and systems.

  • Problem solve – Solving problems is key to our success and growth.

  • Drive Quality programs and initiatives – Creating world-class processes and programs to distinguish us from our competitors.

  • Support the growth of the quality management system – We strive for the highest levels of quality in all that we do from incoming inspection, the certification of materials, to the introduction of new products in the marketplace.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or the sciences or a closely related discipline

  • 3 to 5 years of applicable experience in engineering or science field in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years as Quality Engineer

  • Previous problem-solving experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal skills and the ability to work collaboratively

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
