Techno-Functional Lead will serve as a lead systems engineer responsible for upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of Supply Chain Compliance and Quality Compliance Software Systems. Technical lead is responsible for techno-functional analysis, design, software configuration, system implementation and maintenance of COTs software. In addition, Technical Lead serves on a panel to evaluate new software solutions, enhancement requests and change management. Technical Lead will ensure that the software solutions are well understood, fully utilized and supported for its intended purpose.
Technical analysis, design, software configuration, implementation and maintenance of Supply Chain Compliance and Quality Compliance Software Systems
Adhere to ThermoFisher’s project management policies and procedures
Maintain and Support system integration with ERP, eCommerce and Labeling Systems utilizing Informatica and WebSphere middleware platforms
Define and adhere to SDLC mandated by ThermoFisher’s IT change management process
Assist in maintaining configuration specifications, programs specifications, code repository and operational instructions for supported systems
Ensure unit testing, performance testing and assist in user testing
Drive WERCS Global single instance consolidation initiative
Production support ticket analysis and resolution within established SLAs
Maintains system performance and reliability by; implementing system monitoring alerts, acting on monitoring alerts, troubleshooting software configuration issues, server administration, operating and system management; and escalating application problems to software vendor support teams.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Learns and masters WERCS systems supporting Supply Chain and Product Safety Compliance functions
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in writing complex queries and stored procedures using SQL and PSQL
Windows and Linux Server Administration
Familiarity with MS SQL, Oracle and MS Access database technologies
Demonstrable application experience in WERCS SDS Management and Global Supply Chain Compliance System
5+ years of experience with software system support and system administration.
Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the organization.
Ability to drive multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment.
Excellent analytical abilities, creative problem solving skills and strong planning and organizing capabilities.
‘CSV- Computer Systems Validation’ procedures and protocols to meet CFR Part 11 and GxP guidelines and regulations is a huge plus.
Familiarity with one of these QMS: MasterControl, TrackWise, 123 Compliance is desirable.
