Thermo Fisher Scientific Project Management Office Coordinator, Document Controller - Part Time in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Job Description

This position is part-time and will consist of approximately 15 hours per week.

How will you make an impact?

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for maintaining the FDA- record keeping of our Project Management Office. Document sequencing, signatures upon completion (via DocuSign), and secure record retention/archive are essential functions of this role. The coordinator will also assist with training and continuous improvement efforts of our standardized QMS Product Development Process.

What will you do?

  • Enthusiastically assist a fast-paced medical device product development group while demonstrating Thermo Fisher Scientific 4i Values

  • Integrates excel/word files into pdf (a prerequisite to sending files via DocuSign software)

  • Route a large volume of official records through DocuSign software

  • Maintains document numbering scheme (log) & documents how to do this process

  • Work with QMS Administrator to manage in-house file directory for New Product Development, ultimately generating robust Design History Files, Risk Management Files, Device Master Records, and Product Technical Files

  • Assist Project Managers with meeting events and meeting minutes

  • Assist Project Managers and Quality Department with Auditing tasks to ensure FDA Compliance

  • Collaborate with other domestic and international Thermo Fisher divisional Project Managers

  • Promote continuous improvement of published standard operating procedures & forms for New Product Development, and assist in training efforts/audits

How will you get here?

  • Associate’s Degree or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience and a High School diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of experience in field of administration

  • Proven interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting & influencing across all levels of the organization

  • Excellent skills with MS Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in project management or product development environment

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks

  • Proven time management skills

  • Driven to meet/exceed deadlines and expectations

  • Ability to successfully multi-task with time sensitive situations
