We are looking for a Digital Content Specialist who can provide the leadership needed to continue developing our aggressive digital strategies. The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for the strategy, creation and deployment of multi-channel digital content and co-management of digital marketing channels (in coordination with Global SEO & Social Media Specialist, Global Content & Authoring Manager, Global Digital Senior Manager).

This role may be based anywhere in the continental United States which is near a major travel hub, preferably in the Midwest or on the East Coast. Travel expectation is up to 25%, including both domestic and international.

What will you do?

  • Recommend global content creation based on audits, SEO strategy, website performance, regional needs, and report on content performance

  • Manage content creation vendors

  • Ongoing strategic auditing of global content, which includes assisting regional marketers with content auditing efforts

  • Adhere to and enforce content approval and branding guidelines for digital content.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of coherent and exciting presentations to marketing, sales and executive teams

  • Co-manage digital marketing channels (Paid Search, Display Advertising, etc) in coordination with SEO & Social Media Specialist and Digital Senior Manager

How will you get here?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or related field preferred


  • Digital content strategy and development experience with demonstrated success required (website, video, social, paid advertising, white papers/ebooks, blogs, etc)

  • Strategic digital marketing experience preferred.

  • Experience in both B2B and B2C sectors preferred

  • International experience is required, as well as demonstrated cultural awareness.

  • Life science, diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other health care experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, take initiative, be resourceful, and exercise astute business judgment to drive performance.

  • Ability to learn/train on the job and move quickly to implement learning; interest in various digital channels and flexibility to contribute to “all hands on deck” digital initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities

  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading, building, and implementing digital content marketing initiatives that enable distributed teams to educate and acquire new customers that drive increased revenues

  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills as well as the ability to synthesize and integrate customer insights data, draw conclusions/implications, and translate into comprehensive strategies and business decision recommendations.

  • Demonstrated success in collaborating cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.

  • Ability to lead and influence change is required.
