How will you make an impact?

This individual will be responsible for research, instructional design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning initiatives associated with Thermo Fisher processes and standards. In your role, you are responsible to establish and align reaction, knowledge, behavior and business impact measurements of training programs.

What will you do?

  • Lead roll-out efforts of training initiatives through the development/preparation and delivery of training materials, programs and curricula.

  • Oversee strategy for measuring and reporting training effectiveness

  • Represent Training Department on Project Teams.

  • Mentor associates on training functions.

  • Support New Employee Orientation activities.

  • Serve as expert in job task analysis.

  • Translate training strategies into practical applications that provide consistent results and return on investment.

  • May have involvement in addressing non-conformances through analysis and recommendations for solutions.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Instructional Design/Technology or closely related field.

Experience

  • 8+ years of GMP experience focused on delivery of corporate quality instructional design/technology services, training and/or project development.

  • Experience within a manufacturing or Quality environment preferred.

  • Computer-based training authoring ability highly valued.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledgeable of best-in-class learning and development processes.

  • In-Depth Knowledge in cGMP regulations.

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical/problem solving and written communication skills.

  • Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with all levels of management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
